Thai-Farm is an English language community web site for anyone involved in Livestock Farming in any part of Thailand. My aim is to make this web site full of the farming answers you have been looking for and to get the community of expat farmers together. We have pages on everything from raising pigs to poultry farming and you do not need to be a Thai Farmer to join in we already have a following from all round the world.

I do not want it just for expats as we all know we live in Thailand and there is a need to communicate and trade stock and work together with Thai farmers.

We have just been asked if we can do some animal rescue work and as always I have said yes, I do not know where this is going to take us or how much of my time it will use. So I am now looking for people who can help in any way they feel they can or help me to rehome animals in there area. This includes dogs, cats, wild life and farm animals. If you feel like me you want to do your bit please contact me as soon as you can. I am not asking for any money but I will ask if anyone could send us any cages that they are not using that would be a big help also anything else you feel we could use like dog and cat food Thank you.
On this Thai farm Site you will find information on many subjects from organic Pigs to poultry and we have a blog for you to post the questions you want answered. I will organize a small livestock trade meeting were you can meet other farmers and sell , buy and trade stock with each other at some stage down the line.
I am trying to get a small rare breeds poultry farm and visitors center, off the ground, we keep 5 kinds of Chickens, 4 kind of ducks 2 breeds of Turkeys, Quail, Guinea fowl, and Nubian and Thai Goats all in small numbers. We would like to put a list of breeders together, in order to preserve anything you may have here that is rare or uncommon. Like our wonderful Indian Runner Ducks and our Beautiful Barred Plymouth rock Chickens. We hope to have a lot more livestock to show you as we grow. Breeding high quality organic stock is and always will be my goal. Selling eggs, and day old chicks is my main living. We try and run about 1,000 birds on our farm the Goats are something to amuse me and talking to them makes more sense than my Thai wife at times.
My wife is just trying to starting an organic Thai cooking school so there is going to be fun and games there. She wants to show you some great Thai Chicken recipes or how you can cook a Turkey Thai style. If you want to join our Thai cooking school just send us a mail. We also produce Thai silk from start to finish. If anyone wants to learn how its done feel free to come and see us there is no charge, and ill be more than happy to show you around.
Now Ive had a few phone calls show us round for free?. Where is the catch. Well here it is I get to have a bit of expat company for the day and you may just buy a bit of silk of the wife or buy a few birds to take home, but to tell you the truth I am just happy to make new friends as it normally turns into a few late night beers and some good food and the Hotel round the corner starts at just 350 baht a night.
